GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP

   Five exceptional candidates of Tibetan descent will be selected to receive scholarship awards of up to $15,000 each.  Multi-year awards will be considered.

The purpose of the scholarship program is to further the human capital development of the Tibetan people by supporting the pursuit of excellence among Tibetan students in the graduate field of their choice.

In order to apply, applicants must be enrolled in or already accepted to a graduate degree program in a university in Europe or North America, and must demonstrate proof of Tibetan heritage.

The completed application form along with all supporting documents must be post marked or emailed (in PDF format) on or before May 31, 2011 to the Dalai Lama Trust.   Receipt of applications will be acknowledged by email.
Selected applicants will be contacted for a phone interview.    Awards will be announced by June 30, 2011.
